PayFun Cards are issued under the Visa network. To maintain payment security, comply with applicable laws and regulations, and support platform risk management requirements, transactions with certain merchant categories are restricted and may not be supported.
If a merchant’s Merchant Category Code (MCC) falls within the restricted categories listed below, the transaction may be declined or unable to be completed.

6012 | Financial institutions - merchandise, services and debt repayments |

9406 | Government-owned lottery (specific countries) |

Transaction Restrictions
Transactions attempted with merchants classified under the restricted MCC categories may be declined or rejected.
PayFun may update the scope of restricted merchant categories from time to time in accordance with compliance requirements and risk control policies.
Important Notes
Merchant restrictions are determined based on the actual MCC assigned to the transaction.
Merchant names do not necessarily reflect the underlying transaction category or MCC classification.
MCC classifications may vary depending on region, acquiring institution, or payment scenario.
